That's really the focus of what we do at Calvary Chapel-make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Jesus says,
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" - (Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV).
For us, this means ministering to the needs in Idaho Falls, Idaho and in a broader sense ministering to those around the world that do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
Rick Brown is the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel of Idaho Falls in Southeastern Idaho. In 1993 Rick, along with his wife Tammy, and two children Caleb and Jessica moved to start a new work that over eighteen years God has grown to over seventeen hundred believers. Three other churches have started from this fellowship, as well as Calvary Chapel Christian School.

Tammy was a hurting teenager who was living with the weight of guilt and shame, but at the age of 15, met a young boy that would change all of that. His name was Rick Brown. Rick introduced Tammy to a whole new world. He told her about heaven, hell and salvation through Jesus Christ. Tammy soon gave her life to the Lord and the once broken little girl became a woman of purpose and love.
